Catwalk's Lantana WON NATIONALS! And out of 7 rabbits entered (by Katie Beckett who is my co-rabbitry) 6 were top 5 in their class (Catwalk's Harmony, Lantana, Lulluby, Mysterious Stranger, McFlurry, & Katies Lil Aiden) and 1 got top 10 (Catwalk's Keera)! Then a Special congrats goes to Carrie Nixon who got 2nd SR SS Doe with Catwalk's Aridalde , BOSV Chestnut Doe SM's Emery, and 3rd Sr REW Buck with Catwalk's Yeti. Also to Joe Horack who got BOSV with a Gorgeous Sable Point Doe and BOSV for his SR Black Buck of his own breedings, Kim Sullivan who got 3rd Jr Blue doe and Lydia West who got 2nd Sr Tort doe & 5th SR Tort Buck! Good Job everyone and Congrats to ALL winners! (Just found out Deb Bergs and Lisa Lopez daughter's (My Texan Friends) made some nice placements in youth Way to go! (Lisa got 4th SR SS Doe in open).

Welcome to CatWalk Rabbitry

I am located in the Northern Califonrnia  area (Between Sacramento & Yuba City). I specialize in breeding and showing a newer breed of rabbit called the Lionhead. They are the 1st breed of rabbit that has came from a genetic mutation since 1932 (Satin). Resembling that of a male African Lion, the mane on these creatures are spectacular. It encircles their head all the way around letting up on the ears and tapering off into a v shape towards the back. Both males and females have the mane. Lion heads have a unique mix between wool and normal soft rabbit fur, so you can have the best of both worlds. Getting to be only about 3 lbs, these bunnies are in the smallest group of rabbit called dwarfs. I believe this is the best breed out there but that, of course, is a matter of opinion.
